4月13日開催の臨時株主総会において、定款において弊社の英文社名表記を定めました。
弊社の商号は、「近江酒造株式会社」ですが、
英文表記は「The OMI Shuzo Co.,Ltd.」です。
従来は、英文での社名表記はThe OMI Sake Brewery Co.,Ltd.として対外的に使用していましたが、定款には定めておりませんでした。
今後は上記の表記で表示してまいります。
Notice regarding our company name in English
At the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on April 13, 2026, the company’s English name was established in the Articles of Incorporation.Our company name in English is “The OMI Shuzo Co.,Ltd.”
Previously, our company was called “The OMI Sake Brewery Co., Ltd.” in English. However, because it was not stipulated in the articles of incorporation, and because we are not currently engaged in the sake brewing business, we did not adopt this name as is, and instead specified a new English company name in the articles of incorporation.
From now on, we will use the above notation.
“Shuzo” in Japanese means the manufacture of alcoholic beverages. In order to carry on our founding spirit, we will continue to use the Japanese company name (registered trade name) that has been in use since our establishment.
